Yacht Agent Services

Immigration & Customs Services

Schengen, customs and crew formalities handled for you, so your arrivals, departures and crew changes run on time.

Clear formalities, without the paperwork

Entering or leaving the Schengen Area, changing crew or bringing equipment on board all come with formalities that depend on nationalities, flags and the type of movement. Getting them wrong can delay a departure or hold up a guest.

Our yacht agents coordinate these procedures with the immigration and customs authorities on your behalf, prepare the documentation with you and tell you in advance what each person on board needs, whether you are calling at Monaco, the French Riviera or Corsica.

01

Schengen Formalities, Transit Visas & Ship-to-Ship Transfers

Crew and guests travelling to or through the Schengen Area may need a visa or transit visa depending on their nationality. We check the requirements that apply to each crew member and passenger, help with the transit formalities and coordinate the immigration procedures with the relevant authorities.

Planning a ship-to-ship crew transfer? We prepare the documentation and handle the formalities so the transfer can go ahead as planned.

02

Import, Export, Transit & Inward Processing

Every arrival, departure and port call has a customs side. We coordinate the formalities with the customs authorities and the relevant local representatives, and guide you through import, export, transit and inward processing procedures.

We also tell you which customs documents and requirements apply to the yacht, its equipment and its supplies, and assist with temporary admission procedures for the yacht and the equipment on board.

03

Arrival & Departure Formalities

We coordinate your arrival and departure formalities with the relevant authorities, help you prepare and submit the required vessel documentation, and organise the procedures for each port you call at.

When it is time to leave, we take care of port clearance and the related administrative requirements, so you can sail on schedule.

04

Crew Immigration: Stamping In & Out

We assist with crew immigration formalities on arrival and departure, and coordinate passport stamping, including entry and exit stamps where they apply. We make sure each crew member’s documents meet the requirements for both Schengen and non-Schengen movements.

Crew change coming up? We guide you through the embarkation and disembarkation formalities and coordinate with the immigration authorities and local service providers.

05

Cash Declaration Assistance

Crew, guests and representatives carrying cash or other means of payment across borders may have to declare it. We explain the requirements that apply, help you identify the right declaration procedure and coordinate the documents and formalities with the customs authorities.

For amounts above the mandatory reporting threshold, we assist with the declaration itself, in accordance with the applicable regulations.

06

Residence Permit / Carte de Séjour

Eligible crew members and their families may be able to apply for a French residence permit. We explain the requirements, help you identify the right administrative procedure and supporting documents, and coordinate appointments and formalities with the authorities.

We also assist with French residence permit applications and renewals, subject to eligibility and the applicable procedures.

07

ETIAS & EES Information and Assistance

The Entry/Exit System (EES) and the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) change the way non-EU nationals enter and leave the Schengen Area. We explain what they mean for your crew and guests, and which entry requirements apply depending on their nationality, visa status and travel plans.

Where ETIAS or EES formalities apply, we help you identify the application requirements and the steps to follow.
