“2023 Rallye Automobile Monte-Carlo: The Rallye Automobile Monte-Carlo, the opening round of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) 2023, returns to Monaco due to its tremendous success in the previous edition. The course, modified by 50% compared to the 2022 edition, features 14 mountain passes across 5 French departments, including the Alpes-Maritimes and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. After three days of reconnaissance from January 16 to January 18, the event kicks off with a Shakedown on January 19, starting at 09:31, and reserved for Priority 1 drivers. The official start is on the same evening at 18:30 from the Place du Casino in Monte-Carlo. The first stage features two night stages totaling 40.02 kilometers, offering challenging terrain. The subsequent days continue with demanding stages in various departments, promising intense competition and excitement.
